i just purchased and had delivered yesterday a ball python - around 2 to 3 months old.it stated that they may play dead when they arrive - which he did.
once i put him in his new home he did just fine - stretched out looking around. later i picked him up and held him for awhile - put him back and he went straight to his hide rock. he has been in his hide rock for about 12 hours now and will not come out. i picked up the hide rock to make sure he was alive - looks like he is breathing, however, his head was layed back and showed the bottom side of this head. is he okay? do i need to give him more time to adjust?
please help.
