Why don't you try a porcupine? A lot more exotic and you can sell the quills when they fall out! Seriously, though,... the grounds quite happily. Obviously they must be tame or there would have been some newsworthy accidents by now :)...

Not strictly a pet, unless it hatches :) but I'm looking for ostrich eggs to paint. This is quite a popular art form in... plinth. Are ostriches bred anywhere in the US? If I could track a ranch down that breeds them I could source the eggs....

I'd like to try adding seahorses to my aquarium. Anyone have experience with them? I have no real knowledge of them as... shouldn't be too difficult to rear in captivity. Question is what are their natural enemies? Are they attacked by fish?...

Once on a trip in South Africa, we saw storks migrating. An incredible sight. They circle in the hot air updraughts, so... We stopped the car and watched them. Something to remember :)

BTW none had babies suspended from their mouths, LOL....

A friend of mine tried to put his 'tame' cat into a cardboard carton so that he could take it in his car to the vet.... to his hands :) The box had plenty of room and nice little openings in the sides so there was no harm to the cat!...

Many years ago while travelling in South Africa we saw many largish brown dogs with unusual ridges running down the... I imagine that since the country Rhodesia has long since changed its name to Zimbabwe, that name is no longer used!...
