  Yeah, calling zoos sounds like a great idea. That would be the best chance of finding someone who would understand... The animals do not often know that they are able to casually maim a child and they might just think they are playing....

  My mom had a great poodle once. She didn't act like a poodle, but then she was raised with labs so maybe that's why.... didn't stay on very well but she left them alone. I think they just don't like things that cover their feet or ears....

  I don't know if it would be worth it for cats. Mobile grooming usually costs more than a groomer and cats are pretty... with a couple different things. Then they can sharpen the claws themselves and then you won't have to clip them at all....

  I would call the vet and ask if there is a local wildlife center nearby. If you can't find one yourself they'll know... works.

  First off how old is your son? Because there is nothing YOU can do, he has to do it. It's all how the animal percieves... control and make the cat understand that he is the boss, not it. This is why big cats do not generally make good pets....
